Serving Hope: Pickleball for Kids with Cancer
At Southwest Kids Cancer Foundation, we believe childhood should be about scraped knees on the playground, laughter that makes your cheeks hurt, and dreams bigger than the sky. But for kids battling cancer and their siblings, those moments are often replaced with hospital visits, long treatments, and worries no child should carry.
On Friday, October 4th, at The Picklr in Scottsdale, our community has a chance to change that story. With every paddle raised and every game played, we’re not just hitting a ball across the net, we’re serving up hope, joy, and healing for families walking through their hardest season.
This day isn’t about pickleball. It’s about courage. It’s about the kids who smile through the fight, the siblings who quietly shoulder so much, and the families who need to know they are not alone. When you step onto that court, you’re stepping in for them. You’re saying, “We see you. We’re with you. We’ve got you.”

Why It Matters
Childhood cancer steals a lot, but it cannot steal community. It cannot steal love. And it cannot steal the moments we fight to give back.
On October 4th, together, we’ll turn a pickleball court into something sacred, a court of hope, where every laugh, every cheer, every swing of a paddle echoes louder than cancer itself.
💛 Join us. Play with us. Believe with us. Because when we come together, kids don’t just fight cancer…they get to be kids again.
