It’s almost time! ⛳
Tomorrow, October 1, registration officially opens for Southwest Kids’ Cancer Foundation’s annual Golf Fore Cancer tournament, happening December 5 at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club!
We’ve been working behind the scenes getting everything ready, and tomorrow is the day we finally get to start filling the course.
Beginning at 8 AM, the registration link will officially go live. Emails will be heading out, information will be shared across our social media pages, and players will be able to secure their spots for this year’s tournament.
And if Golf Fore Cancer has been on your radar, tomorrow is the day to grab your spot!
More Than a Day of Golf
Of course, we’re planning a really fun day. Great golf, friendly competition, prizes, community, and probably a few golf balls that mysteriously disappear into the Arizona desert. 😉
But Golf Fore Cancer has a much bigger purpose.
When a child faces cancer, they miss pieces of childhood most of us never have to think twice about. Sports, birthday parties, friendships, family adventures, school activities, sleepovers, and simply having the freedom to be a kid can all be interrupted by treatment.
Their siblings experience many of those changes, too.
Southwest Kids’ Cancer Foundation is a pediatric cancer community providing year-round programs and experiences that help these kids reconnect, build friendships, try new things, and reclaim some of the childhood cancer interrupted.
Golf Fore Cancer helps make those experiences possible.
